I built my home in 1999 with superior walls. Being a mechanical engineer, it looked positive.

About 6 years later, all of my walls had cracks on the exterior. There were no water leaks on the interior because a robust drainage system was put in place. However, I did excavate around the entire house and applied external sealant to cover any cracks that would probably propagate through the wall with moisture and cyclical winter freezings. When trying to finish my basement, I had to cut the drywall 4 inches below the finished ceiling height because the header had cement protruding about 3/8 an inch out past the wooden furring strips.

That was a challenge. We are in the planning phases for our retirement home in the north woods (-20 deg F winters) and I am undecided if Superior walls will be used or not.

An in depth evaluation will be done before spending big coin on the dream lodge. If you have a bad builder with bad drainage, any basement will leak regardless of the building method.

Hi, I am the general manager of Superior Walls of the Northeast. We did not manufacture or install your foundation, however if you have questions or still need assistance please feel free to contact me .

my information Al Lunn email: alunn@superiorwallsnew.com phone: (845) 453-0892. I do not know the specifics of your issue but I would be happy to advise or assist if I can. Superior Walls are a building product, like every other building product you can find at your lumber yard or building supply. They do have to be used correctly just like every other building product.

Very frequently we get called when there are issues because the builder is out of business, can't be found or won't respond.

We print our name , phone number and website on every wall so you can always find us. Thanks Al

I live in the Adirondacks and would not recommend this company. The walls have not held up in the winter or the spring will all the rain.

They are completly cracked and sinking and we now need all new walls and a basement re-poured. Could you tell me who your builder was that installed in 99? I am trying to gather information, as I am having the same issue and Superior Walls wont take ownership.

They are stating that its a builder issue and not their grade or quality. This is completely ridiculous
